Marjorie Campos
Marjorie is a PhD student who loves cows, music and being outdoors. She is originally from Peru, where she completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and worked in research of guinea pig infectious diseases for 3 years. Then, she moved to Maine, USA to complete a Masters in Animal Science at the University of Maine, focusing on hay and silage preservation, and finally moved to Wisconsin to pursue a PhD degree in Dairy Science at Arriola Apelo Lab. Marjorie hopes to continue working in dairy cattle research after graduating.
Marjorie’s research is focused on amino acid metabolism and evaluating nutritional strategies to improve milk production efficiency.
