Emily is an undergraduate senior majoring in Genetics and Genomics with a certificate in Biocore. Outside of classes she has worked in the Arriola Apelo Lab and the Livestock Lab since the summer of 2022. She has recently started working with children with higher needs at Gio’s Garden in Middleton on the weekends and weekday evenings. Her favorite spot on campus is the Memorial Union Terrace in the summer. Her goals for the future are to continue to graduate school to become a Genetic Counselor.
